I was responsible for the backend development of WhiteTrip’s official website, a travel and tourism platform focused on curated holiday experiences. The project included developing a dynamic website, an admin panel for content management, and a custom PMS (Property Management System) dashboard to efficiently handle client enquiries and property bookings.
Key contributions and features:
- Admin Panel Development: Built a secure, feature-rich admin dashboard allowing the client to manage website content, tour packages, destinations, image galleries, blogs, and customer data.
- PMS Dashboard Integration: Developed a dedicated Property Management System (PMS) dashboard to handle client enquiries, booking requests, and lead tracking. It supports assigning enquiries, follow-up management, and viewing booking statuses in real time.
- Interactive Frontend Elements: Leveraged AJAX and jQuery for smooth, real-time updates and a dynamic user interface without page reloads.
- Robust Backend Architecture: Designed the backend using PHP and MySQL with secure authentication, form validation, and modular code structure for easy scalability.
- Performance and Optimization: Ensured high performance, responsive layout compatibility, and SEO-friendly URLs to support visibility and usability.
- End-to-End Workflow: Integrated the entire client enquiry flow — from submission on the website to internal handling via the PMS — improving the business's efficiency in lead management and conversion.
